   Day 1 — Arrive Cairo

   Private transfer, welcome at Mena House with a Pyramid-facing room.

2. 2

   Day 2 — Giza & Saqqara

   Sunrise at the plateau, Sphinx up close, and Egypt's first pyramid in Saqqara.

   Day 3 — Fly to Luxor, board the Nile

   Karnak in golden light, then aboard your boat for three quiet nights.

   Day 4 — Valley of the Kings

   Tombs, Hatshepsut's terraces, and a felucca sail at sunset.

   Day 5 — Edfu & Kom Ombo

   Two of the best-preserved temples in the country, on either side of lunch.

   Day 6 — Fly Hurghada

   Off the boat, onto the coast. Reef-front room, nothing scheduled.

   Day 7 — Red Sea reef day

   Boat out to the house reefs — snorkel, swim, lunch on deck.
